90 Minutes in Heaven

This past week I read a book named 90 Minutes in Heaven. It is an awesome book. I cried (sobbed) through the first several chapters. It is about a man that was pronounced dead after being in a car wreck. He described being in Heaven. All the people that had a significance in his life met him when her arrived. He talked about the beauty of Heaven and the sounds. Everyone was praising God. Angels were singing, not just one praise song, but many at one time.
The first person that met him was his grandfather. I lost it!!! My pawpaw has been dead for 12 years but it reminded me just how much I miss him. I can't wait to see him. I hope he will be the first one to meet me. I want to walk hand in hand with him down those streets of gold. If I know him, he will be saying "Hey Boo, you want some candy?" (my nickname was BooBoo)
First and foremost, I can't wait to see my Lord and Savior. All I can think about is the song "I can only imagine". I don't know what I will do or say or if I can do or say anything. I just know that I will be with HIM forever!!

Just Me and the Kids

As usual, this has been a busy weekend. Greg left on Saturday morning around 10:00 going to Memphis TN to drag races. I was OK with him going but I have really missed him. I am used to him working and not being home but I haven't been away from him for a whole weekend without seeing him at least in passing. After being married to someone for over 10 years, you would think that a weekend apart would be a treat but I have found that I am really lost without him. I could not imagine having to be without him all the time.
The kids have been really good. They have really missed Greg. Keiton cried this afternoon when I told him that his daddy was not at home even though his truck was.
We went to Ethan's party on Sat then we went to Berry High School for Kaylee's game. On Sunday we had a all day singing and lunch. We had to leave church before the singing was over because Kaylee had cheerleading pictures at the football field. Then we went back to church for a youth meeting. Greg and I are the youth directors for the elementary age and younger. So if anyone has any suggestions for things to do with the kids, please let me know.

Playing at Bower's Park

Today we went to my nephew Ethan's 3rd birthday party at Bower's Park. The kids had so much fun. They love playing together. They don't get to play together as much now since school has started and both Karson and Mckenzee started kindergarten this year.
Ethan's birthday theme was Spider man. Keiton thought he was supposed to open presents too.
I want to thank God for my children and my 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
