I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away. We have already had a get together with Greg's mom and we will be with my parents on Christmas eve. Greg's dad is in the hospital (please keep him in your prayers because he is not doing to good) so we are postponing that side. Christmas day I plan on staying home all day so the kids can play. Greg is off of work this week and I am off New Years week. That way we don't have to find babysitters.

Christmas Parade
This past Monday night, Kaylee was in the Tuscaloosa Christmas Parade with the Northside Cheerleaders. This was her first parade. She was so excited. She says that she is a star because she was on tv. WVUA got a good bit of coverage on her. I had so much clothes on her that she could hardly move. This was also Keiton's first Christmas parade to watch. Karson was sick so she has to stay at NaNa's house. She did get to watch it on tv yesterday.
Greg and I worked several days on the float. He hung lights and I stuffed tissue paper on chicken wire (brought back a lot of memories).
Breakfast with Santa
Walker had its annual Breakfast with Santa last week. Greg was Santa again. The kids has alot of fun playing games and eating pancakes. They love that their dad is Santa!! They also love to tell their friends. Keiton ran into the cafeteria yelling Daddy. I had to cover his mouth with my hand and explain that it was a secret.

My Two Guys!!!
I know I have posted a lot today but I just had to put this picture on here. I took this pic this morning. Today is Veteran's day so the girls did not have to get up and go to school so I got to sleep a little later. This is what I saw when I came out of the bathroom from getting ready.
My two favorite guys!!! This is the kind of sight that makes me fall in love with my husband more and more each day. And look and my little man. I thank God for him (and the girls) everyday. Keiton is our little miracle. God has a special plan for him. He was truly God's plan.
Karson turns 6
Karon just celebrated her 6th birthday. I can not believe my little girl is 6 years old. Sometimes I think she should be older than that (ya'll know what I mean). She is so independent. She has a mind of her own. She is my little boss. I always tell people that she is my 6 year old teenager. I remember like it was yesterday the day morning she was born. She was HUGE!!!(9lbs 8ozs). She had to be in the NICU for a week due to meconium in her lungs. She looked like a giant next to all those little babies. OK, let me get out of memory lane.
Any way, She had a good birthday. Nana and Paw came and ate lunch with her. Then we went to there house for pizza and cake. We celebrated with Aunt Chelle, Mckenzee and Ethan. The kids had a lot of fun playing together.
Treat-or-Trunk
Halloween night we had treat-or trunk at Church. The kids had so much fun getting dressed up, playing games and going from table to table getting candy. I know the name of it is treat-or-trunk but we had it in the gym and sat up tables so the kids would not be in the dark or get cold. As you can see, Keiton was spider man minus the mask due to he had been playing with it and I could not find it (I'm so organized).
Kaylee and Karson had Western day at school. Everyone was supposed to dress up as cowboys or cowgirls. This was as western as we could get. Mrs. Janet and Mrs. Amanda made homemade goodies for their table. The girls loved the carmel apples.
A special thanks to Amanda and Crystal for setting up the tables and games.
Casting Crowns
Greg, Kaylee, my friend Kayla and I went to Birmingham to see Casting Crowns. They are my favorite contemporary Christian group. We had a lot of fun. We met up with Christy and her friends at McDonald's before the concert. Kayla and Christy went up to the front of the stage to take pictures until they got ran off. We had great seats even though we could not see the drummer.
It was so amazing to see the sold out crowd all worshiping God. It is also WONDERFUL to go to an event and not worry about what the people around you are doing and if the kids are going hear or see something they are not supposed to.
This is a picture of a painting a person did during one to the songs. This was painted by his hands(not a brush). It was beautiful. This picture does not do it justice.

Fish Fry and Hay Ride
This past Saturday we had a fish fry and hay ride at Church. I think it was the best one ever. The kids (I) loved the hay ride. We had a separate hay ride for the little kids that was earlier than usual. We got to see where we were going and the kids were not out in the cold. Can you believe there is a picture of me taken at an event? (thanks Amanda!)
We also had an inflatable obstacle coarse and moonwalks. The kids had the best time. They were all red in the face from playing so hard. We were one of the last ones leaving and the kids pitched a fit wanting to stay.
The thing that I enjoyed the most was the fellowship with my fellow Christians. I am so privileged to have such great friends.
Carbon Hill Competion
I know everyone is probably sick of hearing about cheerleading, but get over it!!!
This has been our life for the past few months. We are finished for a month until Upward Basketball starts.
Kaylee was in a competition at Carbon Hill this past Saturday. They came in 2nd place(even though I think they should have won). They had a lot of fun. They have put a lot of hard work in their routine. I'm still not sure if she will do this next year.

Kaylee's Birthday
I can't believe today is Kaylee's 9th birthday. It seems like it was only yesterday that I found out that we were pregnant with her. These past 9 years have just flown by. I want to thank God for my little angel.

Finally!!!!!!! An Update
Sorry it has taken me so long to update. I have been off since this past Thursday. I had to go back to work today. The girls had a pep rally at school on Thursday so I took off and went and ate lunch with them and stayed for the pep rally. Kaylee's squad did their routine for the school and they showed off their trophy. That night we went to Samanthafeast.
On Friday Keiton had his 3 year checkup. He weighs 35 pounds. He is in the 75th percentile in height and weight. He got his finger stuck and didn't even cry. He is such a good boy.
On Saturday, we went to the parade and then Kaylee had a game that afternoon.
Sunday we went to church. We had a Christian Karaoke night. It was so fun. We have a lot of talent in our kids. God has truly blessed!!!
Monday and Tuesday we really didn't do anything. Which was fine with me. We all needed a break. We did not want to get back in the routine today.
This is just some fun pictures.

Keiton loves playing in his sister's shoes

Alabama Homecoming Parade
On Saturday, we went to the Alabama homecoming parade. Michelle, Mckenzee and Ethan went with us. The kids had so much fun. They LOVE Big Al. Keiton loved the band, or should I say the drums. The girls liked the cheerleaders. Keiton says he wants to be a football player when he gets older. I don't know if I can handle watching my baby get tackled.
This has become a yearly tradition. Every year we meet and let the kids watch the parade together. We have been doing this since Kaylee was 1 year old. We may not be able to go to the games but I really don't think they mind.
I am so glad my kids are so close in age to my nieces and nephews (two are not pictured). They have so much fun together.
ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheerleading Competition
Kaylee's cheerleading squad was in a competition in Winfield, AL. Their squad came in 3rd place out of 25 groups. Their squad was the 2nd biggest group. We are so proud of them. They worked so hard. I want to thank her coaches' Crystal Marquis and Rita Barrentine for all the hard work they have done.

90 Minutes in Heaven
This past week I read a book named 90 Minutes in Heaven. It is an awesome book. I cried (sobbed) through the first several chapters. It is about a man that was pronounced dead after being in a car wreck. He described being in Heaven. All the people that had a significance in his life met him when her arrived. He talked about the beauty of Heaven and the sounds. Everyone was praising God. Angels were singing, not just one praise song, but many at one time.
The first person that met him was his grandfather. I lost it!!! My pawpaw has been dead for 12 years but it reminded me just how much I miss him. I can't wait to see him. I hope he will be the first one to meet me. I want to walk hand in hand with him down those streets of gold. If I know him, he will be saying "Hey Boo, you want some candy?" (my nickname was BooBoo)
First and foremost, I can't wait to see my Lord and Savior. All I can think about is the song "I can only imagine". I don't know what I will do or say or if I can do or say anything. I just know that I will be with HIM forever!!
Just Me and the Kids
As usual, this has been a busy weekend. Greg left on Saturday morning around 10:00 going to Memphis TN to drag races. I was OK with him going but I have really missed him. I am used to him working and not being home but I haven't been away from him for a whole weekend without seeing him at least in passing. After being married to someone for over 10 years, you would think that a weekend apart would be a treat but I have found that I am really lost without him. I could not imagine having to be without him all the time.
The kids have been really good. They have really missed Greg. Keiton cried this afternoon when I told him that his daddy was not at home even though his truck was.
We went to Ethan's party on Sat then we went to Berry High School for Kaylee's game. On Sunday we had a all day singing and lunch. We had to leave church before the singing was over because Kaylee had cheerleading pictures at the football field. Then we went back to church for a youth meeting. Greg and I are the youth directors for the elementary age and younger. So if anyone has any suggestions for things to do with the kids, please let me know.

Playing at Bower's Park
Today we went to my nephew Ethan's 3rd birthday party at Bower's Park. The kids had so much fun. They love playing together. They don't get to play together as much now since school has started and both Karson and Mckenzee started kindergarten this year.
Ethan's birthday theme was Spider man. Keiton thought he was supposed to open presents too.
I want to thank God for my children and my 2 nephews and 2 nieces.

A Busy Week
We have had a pretty good week this week. This past weekend was very busy but alot of fun!! We went to Oakman for Kaylee's towbowl game. She had a lot of fun. Then we rushed back to Northside High School for a Realife Youth Blast. It was awesome!!! God really blessed the event. Six kids made a profession of faith. One was my best friends daughter. Please keep them in your prayers.
This week did slow down a little. Kaylee had practice only 2 days this week. She had a very good week at school. I'm so proud of her.
Karson had a so so week. She did get in trouble a couple of days. She thinks she is supposed to be the teacher and tell everyone else what to do instead of listening to what she needs to be doing.
Keiton had a good week at school. He did get in trouble yesterday for calling one of his friends a "monkey butt". We could not get on to him to much because we call him that sometimes playing with him. I guess that is not a very good thing to call him.
I was off today. I had the whole day to myself!!! I had to run a few errands this morning even though I really didn't want to. I went and ate lunch with the girls at school. Then I came home and took a NAP!!!!!!!!! I need these days more often.

This weeks update
This has been a pretty busy week. Kaylee has had cheerleading practice after school 3 days this week. The kids have had a good week at school. Karson got in trouble on Wednesday. She was playing in the bathroom and not listening. It has been pretty easy getting back in the routine. We have just had to cut out all trips to town through the week. I do have a Keiton story... I picked him up from school on Wednesday and when I went in his class his teacher told me that he did not take a nap. On the way home he was so cranky. I asked him several questions like I always do like What did you eat for lunch? His reply-nothing. Did you have a good day? "no". Did you play outside? "no" Then he said, mom, my leg hurts so I can't talk. When my leg hurts that means I can't talk so please don't ask any more questions. It was real quit on the way home. Oh, by the way, I did get a new set of tires.

This weekend in review
This was a very busy weekend. Greg worked all weekend. After we got everyone home from school on Friday we had to be at the football field at 6:00 for a final fitting on Kaylee's uniform. On Saturday we spent most of the day in Brilliant at the ballgame(one hour there and one hour back). On Sunday we went to church. We had a great service. Bro Rick preached on "As for ME and MY house WE will serve the Lord". After church, we were on our way home a couple of miles from the church and I had to pull over because I had a flat tire. Of course it was just me and the kids. As always, my church family was there for me. Several men from church stopped and changed my tire for me. My spare "may pop" tire was almost flat. It had just enough air to go to my friend Kayla's house and her step dad aired it up for me(he was also one of the men who changed it). I just want to thank the Lord that I have such a wonderful church family. I want to thank all of those who stopped and offered to stop. We stayed at home for the rest of the day even though we had a lot going on at church that I need to be at. So I guess I'll be getting my early Christmas present tomorrow.......A SET OF NEW TIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Rams!!!
Kaylee is cheering for the Northside Rams Toybowl. They had their first game Saturday. It was in Brilliant AL. She had a lot of fun. It was so HOT!! As soon as she walked on the field a bug got on her leg and her attention was on the ground for the first 10 minutes. After she realized that she couldn't stop and play with it she got back in the game. Everyone knows how she loves bugs. We have another game this coming Saturday in Oakman. I just hope we can get back in time for our Youth Blast at Northside High.

Keiton is 3 today!
Today is Keiton's 3rd birthday. We woke him up by singing happy birthday to him. He just started smiling and asked where his party was. We had a small party for him last Sunday after church but I took cupcakes to school for his class today. When he walked in to school this morning, he announced "today's my birthday and I'm having a party". I went to school after his nap time to surprise him. He had a great day. I want to thank God for my little miracle boy. FYI: he had a spider man b-day party.

Praise God!!!
Karson got saved about a month ago. This past Sunday she got baptised. She was so excited. She kept asking Greg and I if we were proud of her. She has been a completly different child. She has acted so much better. I know God has a special plan for her. I really want to thank Bro. Rick and Mrs. Amanda for all they have done for Karson. I also want to thank our church family. Karson loves each and everyone of you. Most of all I want to praise God for my children. I pray that I can get out of the way so He can use them to glorify his name.

1st Day of School
Thursday was Karson's 1st day of kindergarten and Kaylee's 1st day of 3rd grade. The girls woke up bright and early. They were so excited. I took them to school. Kaylee went to her class by herself. I took Karson to her class. I only stayed for about 5 minutes. She was ready for me to leave. I went back to help at lunch. I really worked trying to help those little kids. I am so proud of her that she didn't cry. I sat with Kaylee at her lunch also. She sat by her boyfriend from last year. They were so excited about seeing each other. Kaylee and Karson rode the bus home. Karson had a great time on the bus. Kaylee still hates it. Just 2 more years and I'll have all 3 in school.
The Beach
This is my first blog so just hang in there with me. We just got back from the beach. We went to Gulf Shores. We had so much fun. We went with my friend from work Regina, her husband Randy and their daughter McKayla. Keiton could not say there names correctly so he called Regina Magina, Randy Mr. Brandy and McKayla Mykayla. The girls and I got a little to much sun. Keiton just turned dark. Kaylee liked the ocean. Karson liked the pool and the beach. Keiton liked the pool only. We took a dolphin cruise. We ate at several nice restaurants like LuLu's, Fish Camp, and Bubbas. We are so ready to go back.
